Dear friends,
By now, we have invested over 4 months of our time into the preparations for SONIC ICELAND. And we have received only positive feedback from all corners of the globe – everyone’s eager to see the project kick off in June, everyone’s interested in our travels and what we will discover on Iceland. We could have not wished for a more positive response – thank you!
However, many of our endeavours to receive support were in vain – sponsors have refused to support us, and in many cases we did not even receive a response.
Now, just a couple of weeks before we are planning to start, we are not sure if we can go ahead with our project. This would obviously be a huge setback – but we cannot finance this trip on our own.
This is why we are now starting a final and very urgent reach out, aiming to keep our costs at least within a manageable limit:
We are very eager to find a hotel-partner, or someone who can provide us with an apartment with Wi-Fi in Reykjavik. We are planning to stay from the 3rd of June until the 29th of June.
And we are of course offering this partner with a corresponding advertising placement.
Please help us! You can spread the word; advise us of possible partner; or even better: tell possible partners about our project, and tell them what our trip is about, so we can make contact more easily. Quite frankly, we are running out of time.
You can reach us at marcel@sonic-iceland.com and kai@sonic-iceland.com. Again, thank you so much!

Hello, greetings from Iceland. I looked at your facebook site, but it does not really give any information about your project. Please tell me as much as you can so that I have some idea how I can help you.
I run the society of new icelanders an intercultural association for foreigners living in Iceland. I organise concerts and festivals for the city of Rvk and Akranes and take part in many other cultural events around the country.
