Lately on Pledge: Mukkaló and Júníus Meyvant Touring Iceland
Here’s another Pledge that we think deserves your hard-earned cash: Mukkaló and Júníus Meyvant are planning to tour Iceland in December (the fools!) and create a documentary about the tour.
“In the summer of 2009 we had a dream of taking Icelandic bands Mukkaló and Júníus Meyvant on a tour around the country. What started as a dream is now going to become a reality in December 2010. Our vision is to play in old churches, especially in isolated places in Iceland, where people don’t experience live performance often. We want to create an atmosphere where people can be blessed. We believe the best place to do that is in the churches where the acoustics and the feeling fits perfectly to our music. We desire that these concerts will bring hope, faith and love to the dark and long winters of Iceland.”
